We’re excited to invite you to join us at NestFest at the Goat Blocks! It’s a free, one-day event celebrating home design, personal style, and creativity - born out of the pages of Willamette Week’s Nester magazine. You’ll find us there, with other fabulous, nesting-related Portland businesses. NestFest is featuring dozens of great vendors and hands-on experiences. Think: curated home shopping, hands-on DIY activities (from moodboarding to a lighting lab), a beautifully styled living room, free copies of Nester magazine, food and drink, and a citywide map of home-design discounts.
Join us for a day full of discovery—and don’t forget to stop by our booth and say “Hello!”

Did you know that twice a month our neighborhood association coordinates meal service for nearby shelters? Want to help? Prepare meals with us at Kitchen Culture! We’ll gather the ingredients and put you to work peeling and chopping or boiling and baking. Our space is limited, so please register here if you’d like to attend. It’ll be a fun afternoon to meet some neighbors and do something good for your local community.
Please understand that by registering you are committing to attend and seeing the cooking process through to the end. When people sign up but don’t show up, we run the risk of leaving people unfed.
Note: We share the cost of this effort with the Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association. If you are able, we encourage you to contribute a little bit to the cost of this project as you register. However, if cost is a barrier, please do not let it deter you from participating. When you sign up, our site will ask you for a “billing” address, but you will not be asked for payment information unless you’ve chosen to donate.
