SimpleConsign is the program we use to track our inventory, sales, and payouts. This is where you can find a list of your items on consignment, including prices, expiration dates, and more. You can also view your current available payout balance.

If you do not remember your consignor ID, you can call or email the shop to ask.

Your consignment balance can be used to shop in the store, get your knives sharpened, or sign up for a class. You can also simply request a payout.

Payouts are currently offered via check or Venmo.

• For a check, please use the Contact page of our website to email us with your mailing address, or let us know when you’d like to pick it up in the shop.

• For a Venmo payment, please use the Contact page of our website with your Venmo handle or share your QR code.

If you’d like to pick up any unsold inventory items, please let us know that you’re coming! Just call or email us with your name, which items you are hoping to pick up, and what day we can expect you.

We appreciate at least 24 hours’ notice whenever possible. This gives us time to gather your things and update them in our inventory records.

Nope! Items that have not been sold within 90 days will become the property of the shop, unless you pick them up. This means we may choose to donate the items to a local organization or, if we leave them on the shelves, a sale after that 90-day period would only profit the shop.

Kitchen Culture: Consignment Agreement

The Process

YOU (Consignor):

• Share your contact information and sign this agreement. 

• Bring us your kitchenware, tableware, and cookbooks. Items must be clean and in good, working, display-ready condition.

WE (Kitchen Culture):

• Accept items we think are a good fit for the store and hand others back to you.

• Create your account and send login details to you within 3 business days.

• Price your items and display them for sale.

Timeline
Items remaining in the shop longer than 90 days will become property of Kitchen Culture. If you wish to reclaim any of your unsold items within their 90-day window, you may do so by notifying the shop via phone or email at least 24 hours prior to pick up. 

Get paid!

You receive 50% of the selling price for your items. Any funds earned may be used as store credit, or paid out upon request. Requests may be submitted in person or via email to consign@kitchenculturepdx.com.

The Fine Print

• Kitchen Culture is not responsible for broken, lost or stolen items.

• Kitchen Culture is solely responsible for pricing consigned items and reserves the right to change item pricing at any time.

• Kitchen Culture reserves the right to remove items from the sales floor at any time.

• Kitchen Culture or Consignor may terminate this agreement at any time. If agreement is terminated by either party, full commission will still be paid on any items sold.
